Loved the backyard with the pool. Was a reasonable walk to the beach (40 minutes) and the black stone grill was a very nice amenity

This is the house you book when the group text finally lands on a date. A bachelor party, a birthday, a fantasy-draft weekend, an old crew that only gets everyone in one place once a year. Turtle Nest Bungalow puts the whole crew under one roof in the quiet Lakeridge area near Victoria Park, ten minutes from Fort Lauderdale Beach and minutes from Las Olas.
Booking one house beats splitting up across hotel rooms. Nobody is texting from three different floors trying to figure out where everyone went. You wake up in the same place, someone starts the coffee, and the day gets planned over the kitchen island instead of in a lobby. Three bedrooms and two sleeper sofas sleep ten, and self check-in means guys can roll in on their own flights without anyone waiting up.
The weekend has a rhythm here. Mornings go offshore or to a tee time. Afternoons are spent at the pool with the griddle going. Nights end in the backyard around the fire pit with the game on the big screen inside if anyone wants it. It is a private base you keep coming back to between plans, and it is yours for the whole stay.
Why groups book the nest
Sleeps ten under one roof
Three bedrooms and two sleeper sofas keep the group together, with a full kitchen, laundry and easy self check-in so everyone arrives on their own schedule.
Pool, griddle and fire pit
A private pool for the afternoon, a griddle for a group cookout, and a fire pit for a late night — the base you come back to between plans.
Charters and boat days
Deep-sea fishing charters and boat rentals leave from nearby marinas, and the beach is a short drive for a day on the sand.
Sleeping ten and who takes what
The house has three bedrooms and two baths, and it sleeps ten. Six of those spots are in the bedrooms; the other four are on the two sleeper sofas, so figure that into who gets a room and who is fine crashing in the common space. For a bachelor party the groom usually gets his own room. For a straight-up guys' weekend, folks tend to sort it out over the first beer.
There is a full kitchen, laundry, fast Wi-Fi and free parking on site. Self check-in matters for a group flying in at different hours — the late arrivals let themselves in without waking anyone. If you want us to walk through the exact sleeping setup before you book, ask us and we will lay it out.
The backyard is the group's HQ
The backyard is where this weekend actually happens. It is about 3,000 square feet of private yard with a pool that has a shallow sun shelf for standing around with a drink, a griddle for a group cookout, and a fire pit for the late nights. There is a covered patio lounge, outdoor dining, string lights overhead and a hand-painted sea-turtle mural. You are not sharing any of it with strangers.
The big screen is inside, so the plan most groups run is dinner off the griddle, the game on the TV, and the night winding down out by the fire. No hotel hallway, no noise from the next room, no lobby.
Feeding the crew
Ten hungry guys is a real question, and you have options. The griddle handles a big group cookout — burgers, breakfast, the works — and the full kitchen and outdoor dining mean you can eat in without anyone leaving. A grocery run on the way from FLL is the cheapest way to keep the fridge stocked for the weekend.
If you would rather not cook, a private chef or catering can come to the house for a night, so the crew eats well without piling into a restaurant. We can point you toward how that works — ask us and we will help you set it up. And Las Olas and the waterfront spots are minutes away when you want to go out.
Mornings out, nights back at the nest
The location does a lot of the work for a group like this. Deep-sea fishing charters and boat rentals leave from nearby Fort Lauderdale marinas, so an early offshore morning is easy. Golf courses sit a short drive away for a tee time. The Seminole Hard Rock casino, sportsbook and clubs are a quick ride south in Hollywood, and there is a water-taxi stop close by if you want to bar-hop along the water without driving.
The nest is what ties it together. You head out for the day's plan and come back to your own pool, griddle and fire pit instead of scattering to separate rooms. That is the whole point of renting the house.
How a stay comes together
One way to shape it — bend it to your own plans.
Roll in and fire up the griddle
Guys arrive on their own flights and let themselves in with self check-in, about fifteen minutes from FLL. Claim beds, get the fridge stocked, and get the griddle and fire pit going the first night.
Offshore or a tee time
Head out early for a deep-sea fishing charter from a nearby marina, or grab a morning tee time at a course a short drive away.
Pool, game and cookout
Back at the nest for the afternoon at the pool with the griddle running, then the game on the big screen inside and the night out by the fire pit.
Out on the town
Ride south to the Seminole Hard Rock for the sportsbook and clubs, or hit Las Olas and the waterfront bars minutes from the house.
Slow morning and check out
Coffee by the pool, a last cookout on the griddle, and an easy pack-up. Ask us about check-out timing when you book.

Room to spread out
A private yard with a pool and a fire pit beats a cramped hotel and a noise complaint. Grill dinner, watch the game inside on the big screen, and keep the night going in the backyard.

Questions groups ask
How many can actually sleep here?
The house sleeps ten across three bedrooms and two baths. Six of those are in the bedrooms and four are on the two sleeper sofas, so plan on four guys taking the sofas.
Is the backyard and pool right for a group like ours?
Yes. It is about 3,000 square feet of private yard with a pool, a sun shelf, a griddle, outdoor dining and a fire pit, and it is all yours — no sharing with other guests. Note the pool is not heated.
Can we have a small party or bring in a chef?
A private chef or catering can come to the house, and we are happy to help you arrange it. For any kind of event or gathering, ask us first and we will walk you through what works — we would rather sort out the details up front than have you guess.
Is there parking for everyone?
There is free parking on site. If your group is rolling in with several cars, ask us and we will tell you how much room there is so you can plan rides.
How does check-in work for guys arriving at different times?
Check-in is self check-in, so guys can let themselves in on their own schedule without anyone waiting up. It is about fifteen minutes from FLL airport.
What about quiet hours and being good neighbors?
This is a quiet residential street near Victoria Park, so the neighbors matter. We will go over the quiet hours and house rules with you when you book — ask us and we will lay them out.
Is it close to the fishing, golf and nightlife?
Yes. Deep-sea fishing charters and boat rentals run from nearby marinas, golf is a short drive, the Seminole Hard Rock in Hollywood is a quick ride south, and Las Olas and the beach are minutes away.
