Most bookings here come from small crews who need a real place to shoot without renting a studio, a location, and a block of hotel rooms all at once. Photographers, brand and social teams, product companies, small video units. The nest gives you the set and the beds in one address, so the location manager and the travel coordinator become the same short conversation. You load in once, you sleep steps from where you shot all day, and you start again at first light without a commute.

A house beats scattered hotel rooms for this kind of work because everything stays put. Gear can live in a spare bedroom overnight. Wardrobe hangs where you left it. The team eats and reviews footage around one kitchen instead of texting across three floors of a hotel. When you rent the whole place, there is no front desk asking why a light stand is in the lobby.

What a shoot day actually feels like here is calm. Bright, neutral rooms hold their look from morning through afternoon. The backyard turns into a second set at golden hour, and again after dark when the pool and string lights come up. Between setups the crew has a full kitchen, laundry, and a covered patio to sit down and reset. It reads as a home, which is exactly why lifestyle and product work look natural in it.

The fit

Why groups book the nest

The set

Camera-ready inside and out

Bright, neutral rooms, a turquoise pool, palms and a hand-painted sea-turtle mural give a versatile backdrop that lights up at night.

Easy production

Parking, load-in and A/V

Simple street and driveway parking, an easy load-in, fast Wi-Fi, and an on-site PA, projectors and large screens for playback or a live shoot.

Stay on location

Room for the crew

Three bedrooms sleep ten so a small team can stay on location through a multi-day shoot, with a full kitchen and laundry.

Where the crew sleeps and where the gear lives

The house sleeps up to ten, with four of those ten on the two sleeper sofas. For a working crew that usually means a few people in real beds and the couches free for anyone rotating in and out. A small unit can stay on location the whole shoot instead of driving back to a hotel each night, which matters when call time is sunrise.

Plan the house around the work, not just the sleep. A common setup looks like this:

  • One bedroom for principal talent or the lead to base out of and get ready in.
  • One bedroom kept as a gear and wardrobe room — cases, stands, and hanging clothes stay put overnight.
  • The main living spaces and backyard as your rolling sets through the day.

There is a full kitchen, laundry, fast Wi-Fi, and self check-in, so a multi-day shoot runs without you leaving the property for the basics. If you are bringing a bigger team than the house sleeps and want to keep some crew on site, ask us and we will walk you through what works.

The backyard as your outdoor set

The backyard is roughly 3,000 square feet of private space and it carries a lot of the shoot. A turquoise pool with a shallow sun shelf, palms, a fire pit, outdoor dining, a covered patio lounge, and a hand-painted sea-turtle mural give you several distinct looks without moving locations. The pool takes late-afternoon light well, and after dark the string lights and glow off the water turn it into a completely different frame.

Because it is fully private, you control the space for the day. No shared resort deck, no strangers wandering through the background of a plate. That makes it usable for lifestyle, product, food, and social work where you need the same corner to look clean take after take.

Feeding the crew and running production

The full kitchen and the outdoor griddle mean you can feed a crew on site without a restaurant run mid-day. Coffee, craft table, a real meal between setups — all of it happens at the house. Outdoor dining and the covered patio give the team somewhere to actually sit and eat instead of balancing plates on apple boxes.

If you would rather not cook on a shoot day, bringing in a private chef or a catering drop is a clean option and the kitchen has the room for it. For production itself, there is on-site A/V — a PA and projectors and a large screen inside — useful for playback, a client monitor, or a live element. Parking is free, with simple street and driveway parking that keeps load-in short. For anything about a specific setup or headcount, point us at your plan on /contact.html and we will tell you what is realistic.

Booking, shoot windows, and being a good neighbor

The nest sits in the quiet Lakeridge area near Victoria Park, so this is a residential street, not a commercial lot. That is part of why it photographs the way it does, and it means the shoot should feel like a household, not a job site. Keep amplified sound and late outdoor activity reasonable, especially at night. We have specific quiet-hours and house guidance — ask us and we will lay it out before you arrive so there are no surprises on the day.

To lock a shoot, check dates and book the nest through our checkout. If your plan involves a larger crew, an event element, or anything beyond a standard stay, reach out first on /contact.html so we can confirm the details and make sure the house fits what you are shooting.

A sample weekend

How a stay comes together

One way to shape it — bend it to your own plans.

Thursday

Load in and scout

Self check-in, drop gear in the spare bedroom, and walk the house and backyard to lock your setups before the light goes. Fifteen minutes from FLL, so a late arrival still leaves time to plan.

Friday

Interior and pool day

Shoot the bright interiors through the morning while the light is even, then move to the pool and patio as the afternoon turns golden. Break for a griddle lunch in the backyard without leaving the property.

Saturday

Location day nearby

Grab coastal frames at the beach and along A1A about ten minutes east, then Las Olas or the Riverwalk for streetscape and skyline before heading back to the nest to review footage.

Saturday night

Night set

Bring up the string lights, the fire pit, and the glow off the pool for a full after-dark look, with the on-site screen for client playback while the team resets between takes.

Sunday

Pickups and wrap

Shoot any pickups in the morning, pack the gear room, run a load of laundry, and check out. Ask us about timing if you need a little flex on the wrap.

The setting

One location, many looks

The house gives a crew several setups without a location move — bright interiors, a resort-style backyard, and golden-hour light on the pool. It is booked for lifestyle, product and social shoots as often as for stays.
