Most girls’ weekends start with a group chat and a spreadsheet of hotel rooms on different floors. Turtle Nest Bungalow skips all of that. It’s a private three-bedroom pool home in the quiet Lakeridge area near Victoria Park, and it sleeps up to ten, so the whole group lands in one place. Bachelorette parties book it, milestone birthdays book it, and so do groups of friends who just want a few days by a pool without a plan for every hour.

The whole-house setup changes the whole rhythm. Nobody is texting from a lobby about where to meet. You get ready together in front of one set of mirrors, someone starts coffee in the real kitchen, and the backyard is right there when you want to slow down. Three bedrooms and two baths give people space to sleep and shower without a line, and four of the ten spots are on two comfortable sleeper sofas for the friends who don’t mind the living room.

A weekend here tends to move between the pool and the town. Las Olas is a short ride for dinner and cocktails, the beach is about ten minutes out, and the water taxi stop is close if you want to cruise the Intracoastal at sunset. Then everyone comes back to the same porch, the string lights, and the fire pit. That’s the part people remember.

The fit

Why groups book the nest

Room to get ready

Space to spread out

Three bedrooms, two baths and bright, open living space give the group room to get ready together before a night out — with a real kitchen for a slow brunch the next morning.

Pool days

A backyard for the group

A private pool with a sun shelf, loungers under the palms, and a covered patio lounge — the daytime headquarters between plans.

Steps from the scene

Minutes to Las Olas

Fort Lauderdale's signature strip of restaurants and bars is a short ride away, and the beach and water taxi are close for a daytime cruise.

Sleeping ten and sharing the bathrooms

The house has three bedrooms and two baths and sleeps up to ten. Six of those spots are in the bedrooms; the other four are on the two sleeper sofas in the living space, which usually go to whoever volunteers or arrives last. Talk it through as a group before you book so nobody is surprised by the couch on night one.

Two bathrooms for a getting-ready crowd works better with a little planning. A few things that help on a big night out:

  • Stagger showers — start early and let people rotate through both baths.
  • Claim a getting-ready zone by the best light, usually the bright open living area, and set up makeup and mirrors there.
  • Run a load of laundry mid-stay so pool towels and going-out clothes both stay in rotation.

The backyard as your headquarters

The backyard is the reason a whole-house rental beats a hotel for this kind of trip. It’s roughly 3,000 square feet of private yard built around a turquoise pool with a shallow sun shelf, so you can sit half-in the water with a drink without swimming laps. Loungers sit under the palms, there’s a covered patio lounge for shade, and a hand-painted sea-turtle mural gives the whole space its name.

At night the yard is where the group naturally lands. String lights come on, the fire pit gets going, and you’ve got a private spot to talk and hang out that doesn’t involve taking over a restaurant or splitting up across rooms. Bring a playlist. There’s a large screen and TV inside if you want a movie to wind down.

Feeding the group

The full kitchen is what makes the slow mornings possible. Someone can put together a big brunch the day after a late night, and the coffee is right there instead of a hotel line. There’s outdoor dining for eating together in the yard, plus a griddle out back for a casual cookout — think a taco spread or breakfast for ten without leaving the house.

If you’d rather not cook on a celebration weekend, a private chef or a catering drop-off is an easy option to arrange, and the kitchen and outdoor dining space handle a group comfortably. We’re happy to help you think it through — just ask us or reach out through /contact.html.

Bachelorette weekends and celebrations

For a bachelorette or a big-birthday trip, the flow of the house does a lot of the work. Everyone gets ready in one place, the photos happen in a backyard that actually looks good instead of a hotel hallway, and the pool and fire pit give you a private base for the parts of the night that aren’t out on the town. The turquoise pool, palms, and string lights photograph well in daylight and after dark.

If you’re picturing a small gathering — a few extra friends over for an afternoon, a low-key celebration in the yard — reach out first so we can walk you through what works. The house has on-site A/V, including a PA and a projector, for the kind of stay that needs it. We don’t list a fixed headcount or party rules here, so ask us and we’ll give you a straight answer for your group.

How a stay comes together

One way to shape it — bend it to your own plans.

Friday

Arrive and settle in

Self check-in means the early group can drop bags, claim beds, and get the pool going while the rest of the crew lands — FLL is about fifteen minutes away. Pour something and take the backyard in before the sun drops.

Friday night

Out on Las Olas

Get ready together, then take the short ride to Las Olas for dinner and cocktails along Fort Lauderdale’s signature strip. Head back to the fire pit and string lights when you’re ready to keep the night low-key.

Saturday

Pool day at the nest

Slow brunch in the kitchen, then a full day on the sun shelf and loungers under the palms. Fire up the griddle for a casual cookout instead of going out, or arrange a private chef if you’d rather not lift a finger.

Saturday evening

Sunset on the water

Board the water taxi nearby and cruise the Intracoastal past the big waterfront homes as the light goes gold — a favorite way to start a celebration night before dinner back in town.

Sunday

Beach morning and goodbyes

Head about ten minutes out to Central Beach for a last swim, or keep it easy with coffee in the yard. Pack up on a relaxed timeline — ask us about check-out timing when you book.

The backyard is the party

String lights, a turquoise pool and a fire pit make the yard the natural gathering point — somewhere the group actually wants to be, without taking over a restaurant or splitting the night across hotel rooms.

Good to know

Questions groups ask

How many people can stay?

The house sleeps up to ten across three bedrooms and two baths. Six of those are in the bedrooms and four are on the two comfortable sleeper sofas in the living space, so sort out who takes the couches before you book.

Is the pool and backyard right for a group like ours?

Yes. The private pool has a shallow sun shelf for sitting in the water, loungers under the palms, a covered patio lounge for shade, and a fire pit and string lights for the evenings. The yard is built to be the group’s daytime and nighttime headquarters.

Can we have a small gathering or bring a chef?

A private chef or catering drop-off is easy to arrange, and the full kitchen and outdoor dining handle a group well. For anything like a small get-together with extra guests, ask us first through /contact.html and we’ll walk you through what works — we don’t post a fixed headcount or event rules here.

Is it good for a bachelorette weekend?

It’s a popular pick for one. Everyone gets ready in one place, the backyard photographs well day and night, and the pool, fire pit, and covered patio give you a private base between plans out on Las Olas.

How does parking work?

Parking is free and on-site. If your group is arriving in more than one car, mention it when you reach out and we’ll go over the details.

What are check-in and check-out like?

Check-in is self check-in, so late or staggered arrivals are no problem — the early group can settle in without waiting. For exact check-in and check-out times, ask us and we’ll confirm for your dates.

Are there quiet hours, and how do we be good neighbors?

The home sits in the quiet Lakeridge area near Victoria Park, so it’s a real neighborhood. We’ll walk you through the house rules and any quiet-hours details when you book — just ask and we’ll be upfront about it.

How do we book?

Check dates and book the nest through the listing, and send any group questions through /contact.html. If you’re weighing a celebration or a bigger group, reach out first and we’ll help you plan it.
